It doesn’t feel much like Spring yet in the Midwest, so it was so nice to get a box full of Spring delivered right to my door! I’m still waiting for the warmer weather to show up, but I guess they can’t do everything at FabFitFun.
What’s in the FabFitFun box??
My first choice item was from the beauty category, between an infused lip mask or body butter. I selected the body butter. KOORES Guava Body Butter is enriched with Shea butter and quince extract to moisturize, while the sunflower, almond and avocado oils nourish your skin’s elasticity and smoothness. I don’t know about all of that, but I do know that it is the perfect body butter for right after a shower. My skin feels super soft for hours after I use it. The value of this body butter is $24.
The other choice item was in the jewelry category between some tassel earrings or a bracelet. I picked the Maya Brenner Designs LOVE bracelet. This $65 bracelet is very simple and dainty. It’s perfect to stack with another thicker bracelet or a watch. You could easily wear this for everyday, or dress it up with other items for a special occasion.
Rachel Pally designed the next item in my box, a reversible clutch that is perfect for spring! There were several designs and I received the orange color with blossoms on one side that reverses to more of a mustard color on the other. I think you could carry this one into your fall wardrobe as well with the mustard color reminding me of fall colors. It is a really good-sized clutch allowing you to fit more in there than a credit card and lipstick, which is always a plus. The value on this one is $60
Another one of my favorite items is a $40 lotion from Murad. The Skin Perfecting Lotion is an oil free moisturizer which is perfect for my sometimes oily skin. It is also super lightweight on my skin. Along with moisturizing, this lotion also claims to minimize the appearance of pores, refine texture and sooth redness and irritation. I definitely recommend this one, especially if you have oily skin.
My next item is a candle from Anderson Lilley. I received the Fresh Linen scent, and it is true to its name. The scent seems to be very long-lasting, lingering even after the candle is blown out. Now, I can’t say that I would spend $45 on this candle if I saw it in a store, but it is a good, even burning candle with an enjoyable scent. Plus, it comes in a really cute copper-colored container that adds a lot of style to the candle.
The Physique 57 Massage Roller was my next item. At just $20 I think I would purchase this item in a store. It is easy to use on yourself. I haven’t yet gotten my husband to give me a massage with it, but I imagine it’s even better used that way. It really seemed to help loosen up my upper shoulders where I carry a lot of tension. I defiantly plan on throwing it in next time we travel. It would be perfect to use after being cramped up in a car or plane on a long trip.
ISH provided the next item in my box with their lip statement palette. Honestly, I really can’t review this item. I just don’t wear anything other than chap stick on my lips. It does state that it is enriched with rose extract, Shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil and aloe vera so it sounds like it would be a great combination for you lips. The value is $42 on this palette. If you want 20% your order, go to https://ish.com/ before 6/30/18 and use code ISH20
Deremelect Cosmeceuticals Makeover concealing ridge filler was also included in the box. Honestly, I haven’t tried this product yet so I can’t give you an honest review. It is supposed to keep your nails healthy, smooth and glossy by concealing nail imperfections with a natural pink hue. It is valued at $18.
The last Spring item in my box was a travel eye mask. Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Mask to be specific. It is a really cute design with metallic stars covering the mask and has a removable cooling insert. I’m not a fan of sleep masks, but I plan to try it with the cooling insert next time I have a migraine to see if it offers any relief. If it helps with that, it is definitely worth $40!
As a bonus, Dove supplied an exfoliating body polish. This is a sponsored product so it isn’t included in the total value of the box. It also isn’t a full size item, but a smaller sample/travel size. I have been loving the body butter so much that I haven’t tried this product yet.
Overall, I liked the variety of this box. The lip palette was the only item that I won’t get use out of. My favorites were definitely the body butter and the lotion though. The total value of the products chosen was $354, so another good deal.
FabFitFun also has a really cool sale going on right now with a ton of products at great prices. There is a hair straightener that has caught my eye that I’m still debating on. Hard to pass up a good sale!
